This is an A5 in a Trifold style in Badalassi Carlo full-grain vegetable-tanned leather in a gorgeous natural color. THIS IS A PATINA MONSTER.
This A5 Trifold holds 3 A5 size inserts. All edges are carefully beveled, sanded, and hand-burnished to a smooth, glassy finish, protecting the leather and providing a polished look and feel.
A durable elastic cord keeps your journal securely closed. As well as all brass eyelets to provide a lifetime of use. You can easily change the colors of your elastic to suit your taste. As well as add most standard A5 inserts.
Unlike other leathers this unique leather will develop a beautiful patina over time. With use, your journal cover will darken slightly, become smoother, and gain a bit of a shine that tells the story of all your travels. This is an absolutely gorgeous leather and needs to been seen and felt to truly grasp the beauty.

This came with three lined notebooks (the brown one in the center) which I somehow missed in the description. I have a TN standard notebook (A5 slim), the lined notebook from the seller, and then an A5 notebook in it. There does not seem to be as much standardization in these notebook sizes as you'd expect so I wanted a cover which would protect the edges of the books and be flexible enough for the lack of standardization in notebook sizes. This does that perfectly. My only unhappiness came from the texture of the leather. It is taking some getting used to as I have two other pieces of undyed leather and they are soft and smooth. This is not. I hope it will pick up the oils in my skin and get smoother over time.
